Lakewood Community Acupuncture is a nonprofit health clinic offering high quality, affordable acupuncture in Lakewood, Colorado, with a mission of empowering our community to live healthy lives. We wish to improve quality of life in our community by providing relief from the pain, discomfort, stress, isolation and financial burden of acute and chronic illness through affordable and accessible acupuncture and other holistic modalities.
Our unique practice model and nonprofit status, enables Lakewood Community Acupuncture to provide affordable acupuncture at approximately 1/2 the cost of private acupuncture in our area. Our lower cost makes our services accessible to more people in our community, giving most income levels the opportunity to enjoy the therapeutic, preventive, and palliative benefits of acupuncture.
Lakewood Community Acupuncture makes donations to local nonprofits through our fundraising efforts, which you can participate in on specific donation days. We sell all our herbal medicine and nutritional supplement products at 25% or greater reduced resale cost.
Lakewood Community Acupuncture does not require or request any proof of income for our regular low-cost services. We offer the same quality treatment to everyone regardless of gender, race, income, national origin, age, ability or disability, marital status, familial situation, religion, size, sexual orientation, veteran status, or political beliefs of any kind.
Note: Lakewood Community Acupuncture does not process insurance claims. However, we will provide a super-bill for the patient to submit to their insurance company upon request.

She often works by aligning the body, relieving pain, relaxing muscles, breaking up scar tissue, improving blood circulation, and healing injuries. She also specializes in balancing emotions and calming the nervous system. She has experience and is comfortable working with stress, anxiety, depression, PTSD, headaches, allergies, menstrual pain, and other associated symptoms of these disorders. She loves using food and herbs as medicine and can help tailor specific food and herbs to support her patient’s individual constitution.

Jamie has been practicing acupuncture, bodywork, and functional nutrition for over 10 years. Prior to that, Jamie worked in healthcare as a nursing and physical therapy aid for 6 years. Jamie thrives at treating musculoskeletal disorders, especially painful conditions of the neck, upper back, shoulders, low back, hips, knees, jaw, and headaches. He uses a combination of local acupuncture techniques—sports acupuncture, motor point, and trigger point therapy—which have profound muscle release and pain relief effect; and balance acupuncture—distal needling techniques that release natural pain killers, calm the nervous system, increase blood flow, decrease inflammation, and balance the meridians. Jamie is also very experienced in treating heart health, emotional health, hormonal health, and digestive health, as well as a variety of other conditions.

Wei Fang has been practicing Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine for 15 years. She is a professor at Colorado School of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Denver—teaching Internal Medicine, Diagnosis and Differentiation, and Clinical Application of Chinese Herbal Medicine—and is a supervisor at the student clinics there.
She treats a variety of conditions including sports injury, digestive issues, emotional health and allergies and specializes in treating gynecological conditions such as menstrual irregularities, PMS, infertility, prenatal care and postnatal care.
