Low Level Laser Therapy (Cold Laser Therapy)

Low Level Laser Therapy (Cold Laser Therapy)
provides an effective, safe alternative to needles for patients with sensitivities or phobias. Because it is completely painless, it offers a way to treat individuals who would otherwise never receive the benefits of acupuncture. LLLT can be applied simultaneously with an acupuncture session. Lakewood Community Acupuncture offers both violet/blue laser therapy and red laser therapy.

The red laser model’s wavelength (635nm) is the same wavelength of a healthy cell. It’s commonly used to increase ATP production in the cell and gently stimulate acupuncture points and increase circulation. The red laser is a tonifying and energizing treatment.

The blue laser’s wavelength (450nm) makes it ideal for treating many skin conditions, scar tissue, and cranial acupuncture points. The blue laser is a sedating and calming treatment.

Cost for Low Level Laser Therapy (Cold Laser Therapy)

  • Low Level Laser Therapy (without acupuncture): $40
  • Add-on to acupuncture: +$30 ($60 total)

review rating 5  I used to go to the Acupuncture Lounge but always got a different provider and could rarely get in at the time I needed. This place is awesome, quiet, and healing. I highly recommend their affordable and quality services.

review rating 5  My sister recommended this place to me and it did not disappoint. I saw Crystal and she was wonderful. It's a warm and sweet space to receive treatment in. I opted for the added Fire Cupping Therapy, which I had never experienced before and would highly recommend! Crystal helped me with an issue I was having and I left in much less pain than I arrived. Looking forward to working with both practitioners on a regular basis for overall maintenance and stress relief.
